An Alien looking Giant pink blob found floating in the ocean

Imagine taking a sunset cruise and coming across this thing bobbing in the ocean. It looks like some sort of alien pod or giant mutant blowfish.

The picture was taken by Australian fisherman Mark Watkins, who thought it might be a downed hot air balloon until he got close enough to smell it. The stench, according to Watkins, was unbearable, which indicated to him that it must be a bundle of rotting biological matter.

Upon closer inspection, and considering the size of the stinky blob, Watkins knew it could only be one thing: a bloated whale carcass, reported The West Australian. But what kind of whale looks like this?

EARTH'S MAGNETIC FIELD IS CHANGING

EARTH’S MAGNETIC FIELD IS CHANGING

EARTH’S MAGNETIC FIELD IS CHANGING: Anyone watching a compass needle point steadily north might suppose that Earth’s magnetic field is a constant. It’s not. Researchers have long known that changes are afoot. The north magnetic pole routinely moves, as much as 40 km/yr, causing compass needles to drift over time. Moreover, the global magnetic field has weakened 10% since the 19th century.

Sea Floor Map

What Do We Really Know About The Ocean Floor?

What Do We Really Know About The Ocean Floor?

Over the last two years, there’s been some huge break-throughs. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) released a 3D, interactive map of the ocean floor in 2014. It combines surveying missions dating back to 1937, and is actively being updated. They recently added satellite radar altimeter data, and that greatly improved the accuracy of it. It uses a picture of the sea surface that reflects features of the sea floor far below. Noe it’s twice as accurate as past surveys and significantly more regions have been mapped. So now we are starting to pinpoint previously unknown ridges, shelfs, volcanos, for example there is a 497-mile (800 km) ridge in the South Atlantic Ocean that formed after Africa and North America rifted apart. Mu Revisited: Was Churchward Right After All?

New evidence suggests that James Churchward, the man who claimed to have seen evidence of the lost civilization of Mu, was indeed shown a secret library. German tour operator Thomas Ritter claims he has been able to enter it.

James Churchward was a patented inventor, engineer… and a man who claimed that he had found evidence of a lost civilisation: Mu. Mu was said to have been the Pacific equivalent of Atlantis, though Churchward said it was a colony of Mu. The first man to write about Mu was Augustus LePlongeon, who in archaeological circles has the distinction of being the first to make a photographic record of the ruins of Chichen Itza. In his books “Sacred Mysteries Among the Mayans and Quiches” (1886) and “Queen Moo and the Egyptian Sphinx” (1896), LePlongeon related his decipherment of the so-called “Troano Codex”, which he claimed showed that the Maya were the ancestors of the Ancient Egyptians. The Mayans had originated from a lost civilization, Mu, which was on par with Atlantis, and which had been destroyed by a volcanic eruption. He added that Queen Moo – clearly linked with Mu – had travelled from this continent to Egypt, where she had gone down into the history books under her new name of Isis. Unfortunately, when the Mayan language was deciphered several decades later, it was learned that LePlongeon’s interpretation of this document was completely erroneous, sometimes even using letters that were in fact no such thing. Jack Churchward, a descendent of James Churchward, states that LePlongeon relied on the translation of Brasseur de Bourbourg. Jack Churchward received an email from one of de Bourbourg’s descendants, who stated that the translation was done by channelling a spirit, which explains why LePlongeon erred so much when he interpreted the document based on this translation.
